Places Of Worship [Unfinished] Flashcards
Why are places of worship often seen as a place to explore your spirituality?
The design of a place of worship may encourage some spiritual response from those viewing or using the building. The symbolism may also be important, conveying a message or reminding of past events, such as through stained glass. For example, in the Middle Ages, most people could not read, so they were taught about the faith in other ways, such as through stained glass images.
