Can you describe the building that you live in?
The building is quite new, I am guessing it might be about ten years old. The architectural concept of the building is a boat. It’s a detached house surrounded by a lovely garden, adjacent to the Irish sea and the Delvin river. We can look over the sea through our windows and from the varanda.
Is it similar to other buildings in the area?
As I told you before, it is in the shape of a ship, which makes it quite unusual.
Is it a conventional location for you?
Yes, it is. In Brazil, we have lots of houses on the beach, close to rivers.
What do you like about living there?
The most enjoyable thing about living there is the scenery. Depending on the light we can have a variety of landscapeS. Another lovely thing is the sound of the sea. It’s very relaxing.
What changes would improve the area where you live?
I think the area is perfect the way it is. I only would like to live 20 minutes closer to Dublin and have warmer temperature for the whole year. But I can’t move this piece of landscape closer to Dublin nor can I make the weather warmer.
