Describe your home.
I’m very lucky to live in such a beautiful house beside the sea. It has every modern convenience, such as underfloor heating and solar panels. For me, as someone from a hot country like Brazil, it has been difficult to move to Ireland. But having a nice warm house definitely helps.
How long have you lived there?
I’ve been living there for about 3 years.
Which is your favourite room for realaxing in?
We call it the “red room”. It has two red bean bags and two red couches in front of a large window from where we can watch the sea.
How do you spend the evenings when you are at home?
Depending on the time I finish my work, my evenings can be short or long. I usually prepare our dinner. After eating, my husband and I put things in the dish washer and the clothes in the washing machine. I have my shower. Then I go to bed, and I either go on the internet or I read a book or watch Telly. After that I hit the hay/ go to bed at half past ten.
What changes would improve your home?
I can’t think about that. It’s fine the way it is.
Is your house in a convenient location for you?
Yes, it is. It’s about ten minutes by car from a town called Balbbrigan, where there are different supermarkets and a small shopping centre. We have bus stop and train station about ten minutes from home. The Gormanston college is about five minutes far way from where we live. If I didn’t work from home or if I had to study in Dublin, probably I wouldn’t think the same way, because it is about 45 minutes from Dublin city centre by car or train.
What changes would you improve the area where you live?
I wouldn’t make any changes, because it is perfectly beautiful and incredibly calm.
