Create PivotTables
insert tab/ table group/Pivot Table button/ Create Pivote window/clk new sheet/ Pivot table Fields
Create Slicers
are filters with big buttons when you hover over them.
analyze tab/ insert slicer/window
Note: chose column/row that needs no calculation.
Group PivotTable Data

Table
table organizes data in rows and columns where as pivot tables summarizes and analyzes data.
Format PivotTable Data

Add Calculated Fields

Drill Down Into PivotTable Details
Select column in table & double clk, the data field appears in another sheet
Use Cube Functions to get Data Out of the Excel Data Model

Cube Functions
are a set of formulas that allow you to access and analyze data from a Data Model (like Power Pivot)

as in pivot tables the pivot charts can be modified the same tools and both can be operated in unison.
