- Gathers Information
- Oversees Crew & Scene

- Confirms Cardiac Arrest
- Initiates Compressions at 110/min
- After 220 Compressions Switch with Position #3
- Carries in the med box and is compressor number one

- Aplies/ Operates Monitor
- Immediately Analyzes/ Shocks if indicated
- Alternates every 220 compressions with #2
- After 220 compressions analyze/ shock if needed
- Carries in the cardiac monitor and is compressor
number two.

A
- BVM x2 then place I-gel and RESQPOD
- Do Not Intubate
- Carries in the airway bag and is responsible for airway
procedures and to oversee the resuscitation.
I-Gel is required- do not intubate medical cardiac arrest patients

- Should always be a paramedic
- Establish IV/IO
- Administers Meds
- Prepares Meds for Next Round
- Ready Stretcher/ Scoop for Transport
- For Trauma, establish two (2) IV/IO Lines

- “Clean Person” Gets Meds out of drug box and prepares them for #5
