Sensorimotor stage
0-2yrs - 5 senses eg. hearing, sight, smell, touch, and taste
Preoperational phase
2-7yrs - Development of language, memory, and imagination
Concrete operational stage
7-11yrs - Less egocentric and more aware of outside world/events
Formal operational
11yrs - Grasp abstract concepts and relationships eg love and hate
What is the 3 mountain task
Children are looking at a model and are asked how it looks from a different perspective different from their own eg. egocentric

Mental actions that are reversible
