Physics Flashcards
Re-action force
The force that pushes you up.
Gravity force
The force that is the mass times weight. Pushes you down.
Upthrust force
The force which pushes an object up.
Thrust force
The force which pushes a vehicle forwards.
Drag force
The force that acts opposite to a thrust so it pushes the vehicle backwards.
Friction force
The force which keeps a vehicle on the ground. Pushes it downwards.
Tension force
The force which is described to be a pulling force. Is the opposite of a pushing force.
Air resistance force
The force that pushes you when you jump out of a tall building. The wind that pushes you is called air resistance force.
Extension
It is a process when an object ( spring ) expands from it’s original length
3 affects of forces
A force acting on an object may cause the object to change shape, to accelerate or decelerate or move from its original space.
Balanced force
The forces which act on an object should be equal. Due to this outcome, the object stands stationery.
Unbalanced force
The forces which act on an object but one of the force is stronger and therefore, the outcome is that the force stronger moves the object to the direction it wants.
