How do you calculate average speed?
Total distance= divided by time it took to get there.
What is the difference between distance and displacement?
Distance is a scalar quantity that refers to “how much ground an object has covered” during its motion. Displacement is a vector quantity that refers to “how far out of place an object is”; it is the object’s overall change in position.
What is the difference between speed and velocity?
velocity is the speed with a direction, while speed does not have a direction.
Definition acceleration?
a vehicle’s capacity to gain speed.
Distance definition?
the length of the space between two points
Speed definition?
the rate at which someone or something moves or operates or is able to move or operate.
Velocity definition?
the speed of something in a given direction.
