Facial expression
Used the face to convey emotions or feelings
Gesture

Gait
The way in which your character walks
Posture
The position you hold your body and sitting or standing sitting up straight or slouched
Body language
The non-verbal way in which a person communicates their physical and mental state through using facial expressions, gesture or posture
Eye contact
To communicate relationships or a character uses eye contact with other characters on stage or lack of
Levels
The use of different heights through standing or sitting to convey meaning on stage they can be used to create visual interest or signal status and character relationships
Physical tension
How tight or relaxed a performance muscles are for example a character character very little physical tension will be relaxed and calm.
It can reflect the level of tension in the play as a whole helping to build suspense
Movement
How a character moves in the stage space
This can help to emphasise the character type to an audience for example example stomping moving which quickly review as an angry/agitated/excited person.
Quality of movement can help create atmosphere mood and emotion in the scene
