Definition of Physical Fitness
the capacity of a person to efficiently carry out the daily activities without undue fatigue

What are the 6 skill-related components?
power, speed, balance, agility, reaction time, coordination
The ability of the muscles to move a joint through a full range of motion.
Flexibility
The ability of the heart, blood, blood vessels and lungs to supply enough oxygen and necessary fuel to the muscles during long periods of physical activity.
Cardiovascular Endurance
The combination of fat-mass and free-mass, including bones, muscles, organs, and water.
Body Composition
The ability of muscles to repeat a movement for a long period of time without stopping to rest.
Muscular Endurance
The ability of muscles to push or pull with total force for one maximal effort.
Muscular Strength
3 types of muscle contraction.
isotonic, isometric, isokinetic
The ability to reach or respond quickly to what you hear, see, or feel.
Reaction Time
The ability to move your body or parts of your body swiftly in the shortest amount of time.
Speed
The ability to use your senses together with your body parts or two or more body parts together.
Coordination
The ability to control or stabilize the body when a person is standing still or moving.
