Definition of Physical Education
part of integral curriculum or developmental program which aims to develop, create, improve, enhance physically, socially, emotionally, and mentally through various properly selected activities
Objectives of Physical Education
- improves motor skills and increase muscle strength and bone density
- develops student’s confidence and competence
- helps in relieving stress and anxiety
Main Goal of Physical Education
develop physically fit individual who has the knowledge, skills, and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activities
4 Types of Development
Physical, Social, Mental, Emotional
This type of development aims to know the different rules and regulations of the committee or competition and application.
Mental
This type of development is comprised of sportsmanship, unity, cooperation, teamwork, punctuality, discipline, honesty, good follower, a good leader.
Social
This type of development aims to improve motor skills.
Physical
This type of development is comprised of self-confidence, self-esteem (your own worth/value), self-reliance, self-control.
Emotional
Under Physical Development, what does it improves?
