Cardiovascular Endurance
Uses exercises performed at the same level of intensity for long periods.
Continuous Training
Involves activities of relatively high intensity performed in short bursts, alternating with periods of rest in between
Interval Training
Allows the body to overcome resistance
Muscular Strength
Postpones the onset of fatigue so you can perform activities for prolonged periods
Muscular endurance
Allows a full range of motion possible at a certain joint during an action
Flexibility
Involves passively stretching a muscle by placing in a maximal stretch position, then holding it for several seconds.
Static Stretching
Uses specific movements and related muscle actions used for the intended physical activity.
Dynamic Stretching
