Why set Goals?
- to increase Motivation levels - tough session - give 100% in every session and improve weakness.
- to provide each session with a Focus
- to check if improvements are being made - continually meeting STG - allows you to see if the programme is working, can make adjustments to PDP
- to make adaptions to training - recording goal progress in training diary - adapt training to make it more manageable/set at the correct level, ensures there is no plateau in Performance development
