Most live on the bottom of the sea floor.
What is a sessile?
An organism that lives in one spot and cannot move.
What is the osculum?
An opening at the top of a sponge.
Is an osculum a mouth?
No!
Porifera are hermaphrodites. What is a hermaphrodite?
An organism with both male and female reproductive cells.
What two types of asexual reproduction can Porifera do?
1) Budding
