One or more words functioning as a unit in a sentence, usually containing a head word and modifiers

A
A noun or a pronoun

All have pre-modifier determiners and most have adjectives as pre-modifiers

A
A main verb and accompanying auxiliary verbs (is, was, have)

- Subject (Main person or thing)
- Verb
- Object (follows the verb)
- Complement (Gives more information about object or subject)
- Adverbial (Optional, can provide information on time, place or manner)
