How does photosynthesis work?
A
They have chlorophyll which can absorb light. Takes place on leaf which contains chloroplasts.

Make food (Glucose) by photosynthesis and waste product is oxygen

- Converted into starch for storage - Provide energy by respiration - Transported from leaves to other parts of plants - Used to make Proteins (Growth) & Cellulose (Cell Wall) - Converted into Starch for Storage

Test the Starch not Glucose 1. De-starch the leaf 2. Add Iodine Solution - Blue/Black
