What are methods of detecting photo forgery?
A
- Reverser image search
- EXIF data check
- Specular reflections (eyes)
- Photogrammetry
- Inconsistencies in shadows/reflections

What can you find out using EXIF data?
A
- Could contain information about the camera’s make and model.
- Information about settings on the camera when the photo was taken, resolution, aperture, date the photo was taken, etc.

What is the problem with using EXIF data
A
A problem with this method is that the data can be unreliable to forensics as someone who knows what they’re doing or the photo undergoes photoshop then can overlap the initial data for that photo.
