A

Creative and sustaining element of God

  • transcendent - above and beyond creation unlike anything else that exists and cannot be controlled by the limits of the universe e.g. time
  • immanent - part of creation active involved in the universe and present Genesis.3:8–9 – “when the man his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking through the garden they heard from the Lord God among the trees – the Lord God called out to the man ‘where are you?’ “
  • omnipotent - all powerful- created universe out of nothing - ex nihilo
  • omniscient - knows everything
  • omnibenevolent - all loving and all good sacrificed so humans could be saved from sin

A
  • incarnate - window really which other part of God can be known
    No human Saviour by dying allows others to be saved
  • Omnipotent – all-powerful – shown through miracles performed by in the gospels e.g. calming the storm, raising Lazarus from the dead

Personal/ immanent – human qualities easier for humans to form a relationship with e.g. understand human needs, miracles, preaching
