Christianity

  • Christians believe Jesus died rose from the dead on Thursday and ascended into heaven 40 days later
  • In doing so he granted eternal life to his followers e.g Jesus said to the repentant thief that he would go to heaven clearly indicates there is life after death
  • Shows Jesus defeated death
  • Resurrection is not the same as resuscitating a dead body
