Scrummage
A scrum is a method of restarting play in rugby football that involves players packing closely together with their heads down and attempting to gain possession of the ball.
This occurs when there is confusion about where the ball belongs.
Fumble
When the ball goes out of your hands unintentionally.
Complications: you lose a tag
Tries
The amount of chances a team has to gain a point.
Real: 6 tags per team
Our: 4 tags per team
Dummy half
The person who stand behind and gets the ball from the rollover.
Roll ball
When you have lost a try then you roll the ball to the dummy half to start a new try.
Turnover
If a team does not score by the sixth try then the referee will award the other team to gain possession of the ball.

Knock on
occurs when a player loses possesion of the ball and it goes forward or when the player hits the ball forward with the hand or arm and the ball touches the ground or another player before the original player can catch it.
tackle
when the tag is taken. what the defending team does when they don’t have possession of the ball.

the player who has the ball can’t protect their tags.

when can you kick the ball
you can always kick the ball in any direction although it cannot go above the referees shoulders.

backward and sideways
how to gain a point
run with the ball and aim to exceed the opposing tag line and aviod getting tagged. When over the tag line place the ball on the ground in a stable manner.
If not stable the point is not granted
diving
you can’t dive over the tag line with the ball if any opponents are close enough for you to be tagged.
