Q
Describe the Mech. Of Action of Opioids
Opioids are psychoactive drugs
A
They decrease Nuerotransmitter relase by inhibiting postsynaptic potential. They Inhibit afferent pain pathways and have no anti-inflammtory/Anti-pyretic activity.
