Magnesium sulfate dose for adult bronchospasm
2g over 20 mins
TXA pediatric dose
15mg/kg (< 12 y/o) over 10 mins
1g over 10 mins (>12 y/o)
Adenosine doses: adult and pediatric
6mg, 12mg rapid IV push
0.1mg/kg, 0.2mg/kg rapid IV push
Phenylephrine dose
100mcg q 2-5mins to max 500 (slow push)
Calcium dose in cardiac arrest (adult)
1g (slow), repeat in 10 mins
Calcium dose in paediatrics
Cardiac arrest:20mg/kg (max 1g), slow, repeat x1 in 10 mins
All other: 10mg/kg (max 1g), slow, repeat x1 in 10 mins
Sodium Bicarb dose for adults
1mEq/kg, repeat 0.5mEq/kg q 10-15 mins
TCA may require 2-3mEq/kg
Magnesium sulfate dose in paediatrics
CA: 50mg/kg to max 2g push
Other: 50mg/kg infusion over 15 mins
Atropine indications & dosages for adults and paediatrics
Bradycardia: Adult-0.6mg IV prn to max 3mg. Ped-0.02mg/kg (min 0.1mg) to max 0.04mg/kg
Organophosphate: Adult-1-2mg q 5-60 min. Per-0.02-0.05mg IV q 10-20
Secretion: 0.6mg IM
