Abnormal behaviour that manifests in two or more areas
- Cognition
- Affectivity
- Interpersonal functioning
- Impulse control
Pattern is inflexible and pervasive
Leads to distress / impaired functioning

Negative symptoms - apathy, lack of interest and emotions

Acute discomfort and reduced close relationships
Cognitive or perceptual distortions - no conviction
Eccentric behaviour

Problems with keeping feelings tolerable without acting out
Narcissisitc - grandiosity / need for admiration / lack of empathy

Anti-social
Histrionic - excessive emotion and attention seeking
