What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is light pink. It reminds me of flamingos and my favorite flower roses!
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is red angus ribeye steak that was ranch raised by my dad. Even better if it is cooked on a wood fire and medium rare.
What is your favorite rodeo event?
My favorite event is breakaway roping. I like how fast it is and also that it shows the skill of the rider and the horse.fastest growing sports in the WPRA
What is your favorite subject in school?
I really enjoy science. I like doing experiments and learning about animals and the earth.
What did you learn from showing goats?
I learned that it is definitely a lot of work. Sometime you have to work with them when you really don’t feel like it or the weather is bad, but it has to be done.
What was your favorite thing about showing goats?
Goats have funny personalities and I enjoyed spending time with them.
What is your favorite flower?
My favorite flower is a rose. I love roses because they smell so great and they are pink which is my favorite color.
Tell us about your horse.
My horse Pistachio is a Welsh Pony Percheron cross. He is a breakaway horse that our friends trained and wears a whopping size 2 shoe!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Recently, I have become interested in home design, so I think it would be so cool to be an architect. But… If that doesn’t work out, I would love to be the next Amy Wilson on the cowboy channel and interview all those rodeo Cowboys and cowgirls!
What are your future plans?
My plans for the near future are to continue rodeo queening and work on my breakaway swing. I hope to maintain an an average and attend Texas A&M university.
Why do you think Rodeo Queen are important?
Rodeo Queen are very important whether behind-the-scenes or in the spotlight. They help educate people about our growing sport and also the western way of life.
