the person centred approach is hollistic and puts an individual at the heart of health care planning, ensuring whole range of physical, intellectual, emotional, and social health needs are met.

likes and dislikes, choices, desired health goals of an individual.
what is meant by circumstances?
illness or disabilities, access to facilities, previous experiences, family and relationships or responsibilities.
how does partnership link to the person-centred approach?
must be a partnership between individual and health professional, also extended partnership including family members and carers.
