Second President, wife was a supporter of women’s rights

Founded the Democratic Republicans, supporters of States Rights in opposition to the Federalists

alliance of tribes fighting back against the English after the French defeat

British lower cost of tea, but limit who the colonists can trade with, lowering income from tea; colonists dress up as Native Americans and dump 1.7 million dollars worth of tea out

against Whiskey tax, it is squashed and shows power of government militia

punishment for criticizing government, president could deport any aliens he. considered dangerous, and makes it harder to become a citizen
