Cheaper-wouldn’t have to pay for testing.
Makes the competition better with drugs because the drugs improve overall performance.

What are the methods used to prevents the use of performance enhancing drugs in sport?
Testing-whereabouts rule,random testing and a range of testing e.g. hair and urine.
Education-programmes that warn performers of the health risks e.g. 100% me.
Sanction/Bans-the threat may act as a deterrent

What is WADA?
World anti doping agency
They are in charge of monitoring and stopping the use of performance enhancing drugs in sport.
What is the whereabouts rule?
It requires the athletes to report 3 months in advance where they will be for 1 hour every day.
It lets the International Sports Federation or The National Anti-Doping Organisation know where they will be.
3 missed tests or failure to provide correct whereabouts detail can lead to sanctions.
