✅ Uses of Perfect Modals:

A
  • Must have + past participle → Certainty about the past

She must have forgotten her phone.
- Can’t have + past participle → Impossibility in the past

He can’t have been at school, I saw him at home.
- May/Might/Could have + past participle → Possibility in the past

They might have missed the train.
- Should have + past participle → Regret, advice about the past

I should have studied more.
- Would have + past participle → Hypothetical past situation

She would have helped if she had known.
