Q: 1) why is Hashem asking this 2 Moshe?
2) why Mzeh - one word, and not 2 Ma Zeh?
A: 2) u can also read it as Mizeh - from this. Hashem says - from this stick, thats in ur hand, u deserve 2 b punished, b/c - חושב בכשרים - u suspected the innocent by saying - they wont believe me! - how does Moshe know they wont?
1) (its a rhetorical question, and we ask then 2 make a point, so whats the point?) Hashem says - (do u see the stick) whats this Moshe says - (yes) a stick, Hashem says - now THAT STICK, it will turn in2 a snake
