The setting in which perception occurs. Physical or circumstantial surroundings can effects the way we perceive an object or a situation

We we what we want to see and not what really happened

The way we feel or our emotional state effect the way we perceive

Personal experiences that effect the way we perceive will effect our perception

Our culture effect the way we perceive. Customs, beliefs, attitudes, rules, morals

The predisposition to perceive a visual stimulus in accordance with expectations, ignoring other possible interpretations
