Example: If in the 50%ile, you could be 50% less than or greater than the average.

Finding SCORE from PERCENTILE.

Example: What score do you need to be in the 33rd %ile?

A

Count = decimal %ile * (N)
…Multiply percentile and total number of #’s present
… Answer should be an integer
….Count up by that much, and that is the score.

EXAMPLE:
Count= (0.33) x (15) = 5
….count up 5 from lowest #
