778 birds living there, with 58 different species, including rare species such as turtle doves and corncrakes.

More than 1million tonnes of gravel removed from area to create the reserve for visitors to enjoy.

Increased biodiversity
By than 100 birds and animals are living there this year alone
Reducing pollution
Up until 70’s was a polluted waste land
Prevents deforestation, therefore trees reduce co2 levels by photosynthesis
Problems
Gravel removal required large work which polluted and could have scared of wildlife.
Cost large amounts of money which could have been spent on improving fakenham transport links and on landfill sites to compensate waste.
