Drugs (ACE-Is, penicillamine, penicillin, phenobarbital), viruses, UV radiation, diet (onion, garlic, leeks)

What are the clinical features of pemphigus vulgaris?
A
- Mucosal ulceration; oral involvement in 50-70%
- Skin blistering - flaccid, easily ruptured vesicles and bullae
- Lesions are typically painful, but not itchy
- After crusting –> hyperpigmentation but without scarring
- +ve Nikolsky’s sign
