Anterior innominate rotation
Supine, hip/knee flexed, grasp PSIS, patient pushes knee towards you
Posterior innominate rotation
Supine, leg off table, hold opposite ASIS, patient lifts leg
Superior PSIS, inferior ASIS
Anterior innominate rotation
Superior ASIS, inferior PSIS
Posterior innominate rotation
Outflare
On contralateral side, stabilize dysfunctional ASIS, dysfunctional leg crossed over the other, patient abduct and externally rotates
Inflare
On ipsilateral side, hold contralateral SIS, leg in shape of “4” over the opposite leg’s knee, patient tries to lift ipsilateral knee towards contralateral side
Superior innominate shear
At patient’s feet, contralateral foot against physician’s hip, pull ipsilateral leg down as the patient tries to hike it upwards
Inferior innominate shear
Prone, ipsilateral leg off table, hip/knee flexed, foot against physician’s thigh, push superiorly on tubercle as patient pulls superiorly on table
Superior pubic shear
Supine, ipsilateral leg abduct and flexed off the table, leg between physician’s legs, stabilize other ASIS, patient pulls up as physician resists
Inferior pubic shear
Same as anterior innominate rotation
Pubic symphysis reset
Flexed hip/knee, patient pushes outward and then inward
