Biceps femoris

A

caudal muscle of the thigh. 1/3 hamstring muscles.
O: sacrotuberous ligament + ischiatic tuberosity
I: patella, patellar ligament via fascia lata, crural fascia, calcaneal tuber via common calcaneal tendon
A: hip extension, stifle, hock. flex stifle when not weight bearing
N: sciatic nerve
