- the other findings (pallor, paresthesia, paralysis, pulselessness) are late findings

A
diastolic BP - compartment pressure
< 30 mmHg indicates ischemic compromise and should prompt consideration of surgical intervention

ischemic injury of affected mm w/ contracture formation
- when LE involved: equinovarus foot deformity
other less common complications: infection, delayed fracture healing and malunion
