Aspirin
DONT USE ON KIDS
Adenosine
.1 mg/kg initial
.2 mg/kg secondary
2 or 3 cc flushes
Albuterol
2.5 mg (same as adult) monitor and check guidelines to repeat
Amiodarone
VF pulseless VT- 5 mg/kg repeat 2 times every 5 min
Probable VT with pulse- 5 mg/kg IV over 20 min, repeat x2
Atropine
Symptomatic bradycardia- .02 mg/kg max dose 1 mg max
Organophosphate poisoning- .03-.05 mg/kg every 10 to 20 min until symptoms subside
IM- .5 to 1 mg depending on weight
Dextrose
.5 to 1 g/kg of D10% slowly over 20 min
Diltiazem
DONT USE IN KIDS
Diphenhydramine
1 to 1.25 mg/kg slow IV/ deep IM
Dopamine
2 to 20 mcg/kg/hr (TFD is 10 mcg/kg/hr)
Epinephrine
Cardiac- .01 mg/kg 1:10,000 every 3 to 5 min
ET cardiac- .1 mg/kg 1:1000
Athsma/analyphylaxis- .15 mg 1:1000 IM
Croup- 3 mg of 1:1000 in 3 mL of NS SVN
Ipatropium Bromide
.5 mg in 2.5 mL NS, same as adult
Do not repeat
Lidocaine
.1 mg/kg (IO pain management only)
Magnesium Sulfate

Morphine
.1 to .2 mg/kg slow IV push
Naloxone
Less than 20 kg .1 mg/kg (includes neonates)
Above 20 kg 2 mg
