2 or > of the Rotterdam criteria
> Oligomenorrhoea / anovulation (periods every <21/7 or greater than 35/7)
Hyperandrogensim (e.g. clinical hirsitusm, acne or biochemical)
Polycystic ovaries on U/S

Teenagers may have polycystic ovaries with regular period, do they have PCOS?

Management of PCOS
A
Lifestyle management (diet and exercise)
Fertility
Endometrial protection (OCP, aim for 4 menses per year)
Metformin improves ovulation (give if increase BSL)
Hirsituism (OCP/ laser)
