Oxygen Donning Procedure
- Remove Headset
- Put oxygen mask on, smoke goggles if required
- headset back on
- Mic switch - MASK
- Pax oxygen selector - Auto or ON
- Main Oxygen lever - confirm ON
- systems MFD PAX OXY advisory - confirm ON
- Pax - instruct to don masks
Emergency Descent
- Power Lever - idle
- Airspeed < 180KIAS
- gear - down
- cabin secure and seatbelts fastened
Cabin Altitude
- Oxygen donning procedure
- CPCS - Manual
- CPCS MANUAL CONTROL switch - push DESCENT intermittently
Cabin Pressure
- differential > 6.35psi exceeded
- CABIN PRESSURE switch - DUMP
- ACS EMERG shut off - Pull
- Oxygen donning Procedure - commence
- Aircraft - carry out emergency descent
Pax door/Cargo door/ Pax + cargo door open in flight
- cabin secure seatbelts fastened
- Aircraft speed - reduce IAS to practical minimum
- Aircraft - slow descent to 10,000ft
- CPCS system mode - Auto
- Aircraft - land ASAP
Engine Fire - ground
- PCL - idle
- condition lever - cut-off/feather
- ACS EMERG shut off - pull
- FUEL EMERG shut off - press latch down and pull lever up
- radio - emergency call
- MASTER power - off
- Park brake - OFF if possible
- Aircraft - evcuate
- Fire - Extinguish
Engine Fire - in flight
- Engine Power - reduce to min acceptable
- ACS EMERG cutoff - pull
- Oxygen donning procedure - commence
- crew oxygen - 100%
- if smoke goggles worn
* vent valve - OPEN - Aircraft - check for fire
if fire - FUEL EMERG shutoff - press latch down and pull lever up
- condition lever - cut-off/feather
- BAT 2 - OFF
if smoke evacuation is required - ACS EMERG shut-off pull
- CABIN PRESSURE switch - DUMP
when cabin pressure diff = 0 - DV window - OPEN
- VENT FANS - LOW
ENGINE ITT
- check ITT indication
if ITT above 850 - PCL - reduce power
if ITT warning remains - aircraft - land ASAP min power
Engine NG - on ground AND/OR immediately after engine start
- check Ng indication
if above 103.5% - PCL - reduce power
if NG is below 60%, select either - condition lever - flight idle or
- ELECTRICAL HEAT/COOL - INHIBIT or
- ACS BLEED AIR - INHIBIT
Engine NG - in flight - overspeed
- check Ng
if above 103.5% - reduce power
if above 104% - PCL - reduce power
- Speed - reduce to 120KIAS or below
- aircraft - land ASAP using min power
Engine Ng - in flight - underspeed
- check Ng indication
if below 60% - PCL - increase power
- speed - increase
if engine does not respond - Engine Failure in flight - partial power loss
- PCL - idle
- MOR lever - unstow and move forwards until engine responds
Engine Np - on ground
immediately after start
1. check Np indication
if below 950 select either
2. condition lever - flight idle or
3. electrical HEAT/.COOL - INHIBIT or
4. ACS BLEED air - INHIBIT or
5. PCL - retard aft of idle detent until Np above 950
on ground
1. check indication
if below 930
2. PCL - retard aft of idle detentor increase power until above 950
if prop RPM is above 1760
2. PCL - reduce power
Engine Np - in flight
- check indication
if below 1640 - PCL - increase power
- airspeed - increase
if above 1760 - PCL - reduce power
- airspeed - reduce
Engine oil - on ground
- engine - dont start, maintenance required
- engine - fill with oil
Engine oil Pressure
- check indication
if confirmed - Ng - check Ng above 72%
- Torque - reduce to below 24psi
if warning remains - aircraft - land ASAP using min power
Engine oil temp - on ground
- check indication
if temperature is too high - aircraft - position into wind
- condition lever - flight idle
- PCL - increase power
if does not return to normal - ELETRICAL HEAT/COOL -inhibit
if warning remains - shut down engine, maintenance required
Engine oil temp - in flight
- check indication
if oil temp too high - PCL - reduce power
if does not return to normal - landing gear - extend
if warning remains - land as soon as practical
Engine Torque
- check indication
if torque above 44.3PSI - PCL - reduce power
if warning remains - land ASAP using min power
ESS bus - below 22V
- Overhead panel - confirm EPS switch ARMED and EPS ON caption is on
- pitch trim - use ALTERNATE STAB TRIM
- aircraft - land or continue at pilot discretion, without failed bus services, do not fly in icing conditions
Generators - GEN 1 and GEN 2 off and engine running
- confirm failures in systems MFD
- GEN 1 switch - reset then on
- GEN 2 switch - reset then on
if generators do not reset and warning remains - monitor BAT 1 and BAT 2
- aircraft - land asap do not fly in icing conditions
Pitch trim runaway
- TRIM INTERRUPT SWITCH - INTR
- reduce aircraft speed if control forces high
- PITCH TRIM cb (LA1) - PULL
- TRIM INTERRUPT switch - NORM
if stopped - PITCH TRIM - use alternate stab trim
if not stopped - TRIM INTERRUPT switch - INTR
- PITCH TRIM ALTN cb (RA1) - PULL
- PITCH TRIM cb (LA1) - CLOSE
- TRIM INTERRUPT switch - NORM
Propeller Pitch
- PCL - ensure forward of the idle detent
if not possible to maintain speed and height - Condition lever - cut-off/feather
starter engaged - on ground
- condition lever - cut-off/feather
- START INTERRUPT switch - push
- BAT 1 and BAT 2 switch - OFF
- EXT PWR (if available) - OFF
- aircraft - maintenance action required
starter engaged - in flight - following airstart
- BUS TIE CB - pull
- STARTER CB LL1 - PULL
- GEN 1 and GEN 2 switches - OFF
AP HOLD LH (RH) DN / AP hold nose up (DN)
- aircraft control wheel and rudder pedals - grasp and position feet to gain control
- autopilot disengage switch - press and disengage AP
- aircraft - retrim manually as necessary
if no AFCS associated CAS messages - aircraft - attempt to re-engage AP once
IMC glide procedure
Aviate - control aircraft
- glide established - 110KTS@4100kg - 119kts@MTOW
- phase 1s completed, engine shut down and feathered
- mayday call and “standby”
Navigate
- MFD swap, altsel to 0
- NRST - divert to most suitable airfield, confirm within reach - 2nm/1,000ft
- use AP to track
- 3nm final point @1,500ft
*systems
- consider o2 requirements
- consider reduction of electrical load
Communicate
- advise med staff - PIEMAN
- ELT ON and transponder to 7700
- update ATC
