Q
Through which vessels do WBC extravasate during inflammation?
A
Postcapillary venules
- due to thin-walled nature, postcapillary venules become more permeable during states of inflammation, allowing white blood cells to extravasate into the surrounding tissue.
- other vessels (like arteriole or capillariy) have too thick vessel wall
2
Q
Elevated troponin following percutaneous coronary intervention is due to what?
A
reperfusion injury
- percutaneous coronary intervention: stenting, performed to increase blood flow
3
Q

A
chromosome 13
- so does Wilson disease (ATP7B) and BRCA2 (male breast cancer)
5
Q
Is cardiac rhabdomyoma metastatic? If so what pathway? lymphatic or blood

6
Q

* nothing is high in transudate.
7
Q
