Q

Define healing and repair

A

Healing is when tissue damage resolves with minimal or no residual damage (eg skin abrasion). (no tissue loss - healing by first intention(
Repair is when there is tissue loss and organisation has to happen to fill in the gap of the lost tissue - healing by second intention. After repair there is regeneration of liable cells (eg hepatocytes etc) but architecture cannot be regenerated.
