Type of food poisoning: commonly comes from eating improperly canned foods; causes relaxation of all muscles (death by suffocation)
Botulism
Normally live in the gut of humans without causing harm; some types cause bloody diarrhea
E Coli.
Most deadly bacterial disease; lung infection; causes bloody disease, also cause strep throat, UTIs, and ear infections
Tuberculosis
Extremely contagious; likes to hang out in damp places, like locker room floors and showers
Athlete’s foot
Circular rash on the skin; spread by skin to skin contact; can also infect our pets
Ringworm
Fungal infection of the vagina
Yeast infection
Also known as beaver fever, caused by drinking water contaminated with feces
Giardiasis
Spread by mosquitoes; destroys red blood cells, causing fever, chills, and fatigue; one of the oldest diseases on earth
Malaria
Caused by eating cysts in undercooked meat; hooks into the intestines and diffuses nutrients from the host, causing weight loss
Tapeworm
Caused by drinking water filled with infected copepods; nature’s in the body for a year and then emerges at the surface of the skin to lay eggs in water.
