What does adrenocorticotropic hormone do?
It stimulates adrenal gland to secrete steroids.
What do steroids do in parturition?
Stimulate placenta to produce ‘prostaglandin’.
From where does oxytocin gets secreted?
What does it do?
Posterior pituitary gland,
Causes uterus contractions.
What is the foetal waste removed by colostrum called?
Meconium.
