What is the Ribbon?
The ribbon organizes commands on tabs by grouping them depending on the related presentation tasks they perform.
shows a list of command that you can do in a presentation.
The File Tab
Clicking on _______ will open a full screen menu Presentations to be created, that allows PowerPoint printed, saved, deleted, moved, and

provides display buttons to perform frequently used commands with a single click. Frequently used commands in PowerPoint include Save, Undo, and Repeat.
Quick Access Toolbar
shows the name of the presentation as well as the name of the program.
The Title Bar
display across the top of the ribbon.
The Ribbon Tabs
Minimizes, restores, or closer the program window
Control Buttons
is only displayed in the control button when the application window is maximized.
The restore button
is only displayed when the application window is in the restored window state.
The maximize button
Indicate the name of the groups of related commands on each displayed tab.
Groups
is located at the center of your PowerPoint window. This is where you edit most of your slide presentations.
Slide pane
A set of commands that control the look of the presentation window.
View Buttons
This is usually located at the bottom of the slide pane. The notes pane allows you to type important notes that will help you remember what to say when presenting a report or project.
