Intangible things(They can’t be touched)

A particular/specific person, place, thing, or idea (it is always capitalized)

A word that replaces a noun
What are examples of a pronoun?

are used to showownership

a word that describes a noun. colors and numbers are also adjectives
What is a verb?
a word that shows action, existence, or occurance
What is an adverb?
a word that describes a verb
What is a conjunction?
a word that connects words, phrases, clauses, and sentences
What are the coordinating conjunctions?
and, or, but, yet, so, nor, for
What are some subordinating conjunctions”
because, although, while, since, unless, before, after, etc.
What are the three correlative conjunctions?
either…..or, neither…..nor, not only…but also
What is a preposition?
a word that describes one object’s position in relation to another object
What is an interjection?
an exclamation or abrupt remark, usually placed at the beginning of a sentence
What is an article?
an article is a type of adjective.
What is a definite article?
the is a definite article, it means a specific item or thing
What is an indefinite article?
a or an is an indefinite article it is not specific. I want a house. It means any house.
What are interjections followed by?
an exclamation or a comma, depending on the level of emotion.
