programs or instructions that tell a computer exactly what to do.
software
a piece of hardware that sits outside of your computer and attaches to it with a cable.
peripheral
central processing unit. the mother board in your computer.
CPU
used to enter data and type information.
keyboard
a storage device that holds information.
disk
a device that lets computers communicate.
modem
Random- Access- Memory. Electronic memory that temporarily stores info inside a computer.
