A thick covering outside the cell membranes of the plant cells

The fluid-like material that fills a cell and surrounds the nucleus and organelles
Cytoplasm
A cell organelle involved in making proteins
Ribosome
Breakdown nutrients and old cell parts; found in animal cells and rarely in plant cells
Lysosome
A cell organelle that stores substances such as food or waste
Vacuole
An organelle that packages proteins for use inside or outside the cell
Golgi Apparatus
an organelle found in plant cells that captures light energy and uses it to make food (sugar)
Chloroplast
A power house of cells; an organelle that provides cells with the energy they need
Mitochondria
An organelle that changes and packages proteins
Endoplasmic Reticulum
