What are particles?
Everything is made of matter particles are tiny pieces of matter. Particles refers to atone, ions and molecules
What is the particle model?
The particle model is a model that describes how particles are arranged in solids liquids and gages treating them as spheres
What is a physical change?
A physical change is a change in state or shape. No new substances are made and physical changes are often reversible
What is a chemical change?
A chemical change is a change that produces one or more new substances. The properties of the new substances may differ to the previous substance. They are usually difficult to reverse
What are the three limitations of the particle model?
It can not be drawn to scale due to the size of atoms and the space between them particularly in the gas state. Electrostatic forces are not shown.
