What are the arcs of; masthead, sidelight, sternlight, towing light, all-round light?
- Masthead light - 225 degrees, 22.5 degrees abaft the beam.
- Sidelight - 112.5 degrees, 22.5 degrees abaft the beam
- Sternlight - 135 degrees, 67.5 degrees aft to each side
- Towing light (yellow) - 135 degrees
- All-round light - 360 degrees
What are the visibility characteristics for a vessel 50m or more in length?
- Masthead - 6 miles
- Sidelight - 3 miles
- Sternlight - 3 miles
- Towing light (yellow) - 3 miles

Rule 23 (part C) - WIG Craft
A WIG craft when taking off, landing and in flight near the surface shall, in addition to the lights prescirbed for power-driven vessel, shal exhibit a high intensity all-round flashing red light.
Rule 23 (part C) - Power-driven vessel less than 12m
In lieu of the lights prescribed in this rule exhibit all-round white light and sidelights.
Rule 23 (part C) - Power-driven vessel less than 7m and maximum speed does not exceed 7kts.
In lieu of the lights prescribed in this rule exhibit all-round white light and if practicable, also exhibit sidelights.

May be displaced from the for and aft centreline of the vessel if the centreline fitting is not practicable, provided that the sidelights are combined in one lantern which shall be carried on the fore and aft centreline of the vessel or located as nearly as practicable in the same fore and aft line as the masthead light or all-round white light.

- Less than 25m breadth one all-round white liught forward end and one near after end
- More then 25m in breadth two additional all-round white lights at or near the extremities of its breadth
- If exceeds 100m in length additional all-round white lights between lights prescribed above so distance between lights does not exceed 100m
- Diamond shape at after end of submerged vessel or object being towed, if exceeding 200m an additional diamond shape.

- May exhibit in addition, two all-round lights in a vertical line, upper being red and the lower green. Cannot be exhibited with combined lantern
