- no person may operate in formation flight except by arrangement with PIC of each aircraft
- no person may operate an aircraft, carrying passengers for hire, in formation flight
91.113 - Right of way
- in distress over all others
- converging - same category the on the other’s right (balloon over any other, glider over airship, powered parachute, weight shift control ac, rotorcraft, towing over all)
- head on - alter to the right
- overtaking - overtaken aircraft has right of way - overtaking should alter right and well clear
- landing - lower altitude but shall not take advantage to cut in front of another which is on final or to overtake.
91.117 - Aircraft speed
- below 10,000’ MSL more than 250 kts
- at or below 2500’ agl within 4 nm of primary airport of Class C or D airport more than 200 kts.
- airspace underlying Class B or in Class B VFR corridor more than 200 kts
91.119 - Minimum safe altitudes
- anywhere - altitude allowing, if a power unit fails, an emergency landing without undue hazard to persons or property on the surface.
- over congested areas - city, town or open air assembly of persons 1000’ above or 2000’ horizontally
- other than congested area - 500’ agl or closer than 500’ to person, vessel, vehicle or structure.
- helicopters - may be operated less than other min provided complies with routes or altitudes specifically prescribed for helicopters by FAA
91.121 - altimeter settings
Recorded altimeter setting of a station along the route and within 100 nm of the aircraft
91.123 - compliance with ATC clearances and instructions
- when an atc clearance has been obtained, no PIC may deviate unless an amended clearance, emergency exists, traffic alert/collision avoidance
- if deviate notify atc as soon as possible
91.125 - Light signals
Steady green - cleared for takeoff - cleared to land
Flash green - cleared to taxi - return for landing
Steady red - stop - give way to other aircraft and continue circling
Flash red - taxi clear of runway in use - airport unsafe do not land
Flash white - return to starting point - n/a
Alt red/green - exercise extreme caution
91.146 - passenger carrying flights for benefit of charitable, non-profit, or community event.
C
91.147 - passenger carrying flights for compensation or hire

See doc

Fuel to fly to first intended point of landing and after that for 20 min.
91.157 - Special VFR
- ATC clearance
- clear of clouds
- day or night -
- vis can be below 1 sm
- can takeoff or land even with reduced visibility
91.209 - Aircraft Lights
From sunrise to sunset must have lighted position lights. Operate an aircraft that does not have anti-collision lights. Need not be operated if PIC deems unsafe.
91.211 - Supplemental Oxygen
- 12,500’ to 14,000 MSL unless provided and use supp oxygen for portions of that flight at that altitude more than 30 min.
- above 14,000’ provided and use supp oxygen entire time above that altitude,
- above 15,000’ each occupant provided oxygen.
91.213 - Inoperative instruments and equipment
- no person may take off with inoperable instruments or equipment installed unless:
- MEL exists (does not for ours)
With no MEL:
- rotorcraft and instruments aren’t
